Made by Ghanaian artisans using traditional techniques, the dog basket is hand-woven with elephant grass (or miscanthus). It is a real unique work of art, since each basket takes several days to weave. For the colored patterns present on certain models, they are made from non-toxic natural (vegetable) dyes!

This is a comfortable basket for your dog while also being a wonderful decorative item for the home.
Each dog bed is equipped with an interior cushion covered with a terrycloth fabric, removable for easy cleaning.
Each dog bed has a unique hand-woven quality.
Our baskets are available in 3 sizes with the following dimensions (Length x Depth x Height):
- S: 60 x 38 x 22 cm (suitable for cats and small dogs: Yorkshire, Chihuahua, Westie, etc.)
- M: 69 x 43 x 28 cm (suitable for dog breeds: Bulldog, Dachshund, Pug, Jack Russel, etc.)
- L: 75 x 60 x 40 cm (suitable for dog breeds: Australian Shepherd, Labrador, Beagle, Pinscher, Cocker, Irish Terrier, etc.)
Important: The breeds are given as an indication, each dog being different in size / weight and in sleeping habits.
Note that, due to its craftsmanship:
- each dog basket is unique and therefore may have small variations / defects (size, color)
- The colors of our baskets may vary slightly depending on the device you are viewing from or photographic lighting sources.
- Small pieces of grass may protrude over time and can be cut.
With this basket, we value the know-how of the FraFra people and perpetuate the Ghanaian tradition. We also support the local economy and improve the quality of life of artisans and their families, ensuring that the long hours of work required to make a basket are valued.
Care advice:
- If there is a stain, the basket can be wiped or rinsed with water (do not leave it too long in the sun to avoid distorting the color)
- The cushion cover can be machine washed (30°C on a delicate program)
- If the basket arrives slightly deformed, it can be reshaped very easily:
(1) Spray some cold water
(2) Let stand for 5 minutes
(3) Gently reshape the basket
(4) Allow to dry completely in a ventilated area, due to the natural nature of the basket, it may mold if left damp.
