Savannah Bolga Pot Basket

The latest addition to the Literally WOVEN Storage Collection is crafted from a locally sourced, elephant grass using a single-weave technique with ballooned proportions.  The Savannah features stackable inspired hues often seen at dawn in Bolgatanga. Bolga Pot Baskets are a truly timeless addition to any space, adding a timeless symbol and a traditional touch to homes across the country.

Before reaching the final weaver, our process passes through the hands of a matriarch grass farmer and grass sorter. This product is handcrafted from locally-sourced elephant grass over four days and is a great alternative to mass-produced woven baskets.  It is both a work of art and a practical storage solution for blankets, toys, and other items.
